Take the Gen 1 that Harris took to MK last year, or the Redline that Vinoah found. Now they are survivors.
I don't think you should even be allowed to clean them! ;)

it broke my heart to clean this
i would have left all the spiders webs on it
ps i did buy a nos set of mxII decals dated 1979,and correct for this bike
but me and the fella who it belongs to
just couldt bring ourselves to use them
so it stays as is for evermore
spent the last 24 yrs in a shed, like all survivors should
other than the profile, that was found under a huge pile of horse kahkah ;)
NYSoul:
Yep, Dans Haro, Steves Redline, Dordymush's Skyway (I think it was his, was at Epic) and Bigdogs Sport sum up "Survivor" for me

o yes ,still looks the same not touched it apart from blue front skyway that i swop with the zed every now and then.
oberonspacefruit:
judges decision. if you look at dans bike you can tell its not been touched.
people like these kind of bikes as survivors.
if you clean one, add old parts, change decals, you are moving away from it looking lke one.....survivors always have the wrong colur stuff...mismatched parsts etc and thats there charm.....start adding other stuff and they look less and less like a survivor, thus reducing your chances of winning.....
plus what is the point of winning a 6 quid trophy, knowing that your "survivor" is not?
your only fooling yourself, its not big, and its not clever....
