What approx year did they come out?? I just got a pair for my new build. Cool. I can remember them but everyone i speak to about BMX dosen't!! It is obviously mags and Araya's they remember. Against the Arayas were they like the Porsche Boxter, the cheap mans 911?? (Sorry if ya got one!)

Not 100% on years but Alex's speedlines (82/83 onwards ?) are later than the 7C box type Ukais . The 7C type ones could be 79-81 ? .

So they were around bitd then. I wonder why they are not very well known or even remembered by the majority?

Munners I wouldn't say they were the equivalent of the boxster, just an alternative, but good enough for a number of manufacturers to spec as oem including Redline!!
