On "Joe Kid", Bob Osborne mentions some crazy statistics regarding the sales of nintendo consoles versus bmx's.

Can't remember the figures, but I do remember it was kinda shocking.

I think it was mainly the Gameboys that swayed them.  It was a different class to Donkey Kong and Snoopy Tennis and that Popeye game in the boat...
