19. Have you ever ended up in hospital due to a crash on a BMX - Yes, I was a jumper and flipped and smashed the back of my head on a stop tap in the pavement.

1. Did you ever race BMX in the 80s? - Yes. first race, Buckmore Park 81, can't remember the last but probably '86.
2. Whats the best result you ever achieved ? 4th in Regional Championships at Olympia
3. Did you ride freestyle in the 80s? Yes
4 Did you ever compete in freestyle competions? Did the first Holeshot.
5. did you ever win a trophy for BMX? A few, maybe a dozen?
6. What was the first official number plate number you had? UK no was 4404
7. Who was the most famous BMXer you ever met or rode with? Met - Miranda, Blyther. Rode with - Dave Haynes (action bike test rider) is that famous? or any of the Hayes lot (Lee Alex, Restall etc)
8. When did you give up riding BMX? Probably about 87 but then I had the odd bike here and there through the 90s
9. Have you raced a bike in th 00s? Couple of OS races this year.
10. Did you do any other sports after or during BMX? I've always skateboarded, snowboarding since 1990, bit of MTBing and inline.
11. What BMXer would you most like to meet today? Any that want to go big for my camera.
12. What was your all time favourite BMX venue? I guess Hayes - I spent sooo many hours there, but I always liked Bournemouth track even if I never did any good there.
13. Were you ever sponsored for BMX? No.
14. What is your all time favourite BMX? Either a TA XL or a JMC (DY or AP)
15. What was your first BMX? Gt Pro 4 (or '82 GT Nora Cup as they seem to be refered to now)
16. How many BMXs do you own today? About 8-9
17. What is your favourite bike that you own? For riding S&M LTF - for looking at my Kastan.
18. What is the most BMXs you have owned? I've never owned as many as now.
19. Have you ever ended up in hospital due to a crash on a BMX? Of course - dislocated thumb at Brum Wheels was probably the worse, ankle ligaments and hairline fracture of elbow at Harrow (seperately), numerous other minor lacerations.20. Do you think you will ride a BMX when you reach the age of 50? That's not too long now so I hope so.

1. Did you ever race BMX in the 80s............ yes, only local event's though, nothing major!
2. Whats the best result you ever achieved................ few 1st's, 2nd's & 3rd's.... no big event win's
3. Did you ride freestyle in the 80s?.................. yes, from like 86 onward's!
4 Did you ever compete in freestyle competions?..............yes, few local event's & most regional & National UKbfa's 88+
5. did you ever win a trophy for BMX.......... yes, loadsa UKBfa's 1st's 2nd's & 3rd's... 2nd Champs of Champs, few race too! not all pictured!

7. Who was the most famous BMXer you ever met or rode with?............... Met Mat Hoffman, Mirra, rode with Si Tabron, he learnt me how to air... learnt quite a lot from Simon!.

11. What BMXer would you most like to meet today?............ too many to name... Carlo Grigg's, Scotty Cramner, all the Road fool's clan

13. Were you ever sponsored for BMX?................ no, although Roger Atkin's was gonna put me on GT... until i had a bad crash & stopped riding!
14. What is your all time favourite BMX?.............. GT pro tour or Skyway Streetbeat... probably Skyway... i got a lot better on my Streetbeat!
15. What was your first BMX?.................. Iron horse 'Savage' 16"
