No mate, I was an Elm Park boy beofre we moved to Upminster. Used to live in the houses that back on to Upper Rainham Road. About 2 minutes easy ride to Rom. :D
I did nearly die on Upminster Hill twice though! First time I'd just picked up my KZ1 from Sixar cycles and was coming down the hill, as I grabbed the brakes for the very 1st time all I heard was a ssssSSHHHHHHHHHHH noise as new tuff pads grabbed new Z rims and I went sailing straight across a road as a car was coming. Unfortunately it was my mum driving after having paid for the bike so I nearly got run over by my own mum but I did get a thick ear. 2nd time we were mucking around in that Catholic school playground at the top of the hill when some priests chased us out and I followed Paul Evans straight across St Marys Lane in to the park without looking and a car hit my back wheel and knocked me off. I got back on the bike and give it large in to the park but the fooker in the car mounted the pavement and chased us through the park.
You think kids these days would run away from Priests? Only if they didn't want a sore arse! ;D
Top days! :D ;D :LolLolLolLol:
