flight cranks

hopefully our lass is buying me some chrome flights for my cruiser for my birthday,

is it better to have a chain ring the same colour as the cranks or the same colour as the frame{mostly black}?

i've seen flight rings, proline rings and profile imperial rings in black and chrome.

which would suit it better?

i'm rebuilding a lazerlite at the minute, and am having a bit of a gamble on some of its parts, namely crank and associated metalwork.

am going for profile 175's, onto profile spider, onto 44t black sugino chainring, with a set of victor beartraps....

so it will look old and in keeping, but  with a modern twist if that makes sense...i reckon it will look the bollocks.

the way to go mate imho....
