Is that defo then

What year is it then as I thought all the early frames had gussets on the rear stays

I could be wrong tho  :-[

Bob_Acid:
MONG!!!

Steve P:
I'm still not convinced. It don't look right to me. Look closer !!!

The gusset is a different shape and the rear dropouts did not have any holes

All early frames had gussets on the rear stays and square tubing on the BB

Later frames with the same gussets had "step down" rear dropouts with two holes

Then the frames went looptail with similar "step down" dropouts and no head or rear stay gussets

CAN ANYONE HELP BEFORE I CONSIDER BIDDING

Matty_Boy:
A friend of mine has the same frame, turns out it's an Ammaco Mongoose, marketed here in the UK.
There is an old Ammaco magazine advert floating around somewhere which has the pics of this, sold as a bike, in it.

Bob_Acid:
Thanks for spelling it out mate but plz, don't confuse a Mong with a Mongoose.  ;)
