That's crazy dude - I've had 3 frames now with the following numbers G0783 G0683 G0684 - they;ve all been similar though and not like this - the rear drop out has a triangle cut out

Can anyone shed light on this number? It surely can't relate to the country as that frame is an Aussie frame and the three I've had have all been from Surrey area (that's not to say they aren't Aussie but I doubt it)

kdw712:
from what i remb of the Vintage thread (which i can't find over there at the mo )

these were a generic type frame which was used by a few companies in different areas like UK and OZ
sure in the UK they were peugeot or puch or something

the solid rear drop according the repco ad means its the better frame
the cutout meant it was the lower spec frame - poss mild steel not sure on that

This is a few pics for Matt. This frame is owned by QuicksilverBMX on Vintage. (Reece)

Do we know who the manufacturers were?

The frames I had had gusset plates but not inbetween the top and down tube (Crossrider style) but 2 triangular plates below the downtube (Redline style) two of the frames had 3 concentric circles and one was just flat metal.

I've been searching for the right frame for my Suzuki Samurai rebuild which has the concentric circles in the plates

Nice frame dude, although I'm not into freestyle bikes - is this one of three ever produced?
