someone had a way of warming them then using two car rims to sandwich the tuff, to straighten them. but for 2/3mm may be a bit extreme

Its like S&MAlex says, slacken off brakes cos they ain't going work!

Soz to disagree,but i have skyways on most of my bikes and all the brakes work spot on.  :)

As for the buckle,i wouldnt bother,because if you do some tricks on your bike the skyways usually bend back into shape eventually.  ;)
