PAYPAL HELP SORTED - let me tell you what i got.....

Guys - ive spotted something i want to buy, has to be via paypal, its gonna cost me 225quid, but i have 115quid in my paypal account - does anyone know if i can still buy it using paypal? Will it just use up what i have left in my account then take the rest from my chosen bank account? Or will it be one of those echeque things that take 7 days to clear? What can i do?

on mine it takes the extra from my bank account .
it has happned before though taking 7 days e cheque thing.

if you get stuck i can pay for it .

I will just make the rest up out of your bank account if you set up with a credit/debit card account.

Depends how your set up mate and how long you have been using paypal!

If you have been fully verified and have maximum account usage it will take whats in your paypal account and take the rest from your normal current account you will have specified

Alternatively when you go through to issue payment you can specify to take the payment from your secondary source which is usually a credit card which will go through straight away and avoid the E cheque but will miss whats in your paypal balance now.

When you make payments without any paypal funds if its an e cheque you have a reduced flexibility and would advise using a credit card to back the payment if its a requirement of the sale to complete the transaction within a few days

if your paypal is linked to a Debit card it will go through instantly, as the balance will come out of your bank account!
