Smallest freewheel on a regular non flipflop hub?

<< < (2/4) > >>

Zippy:
I asked this a while back and was reliably informed that 16 was as low as it goes.

dordymush:
when your saying flip flop hub.
you mean threads both sides dont you.
heres mine.threaded one side and running a 13 tooth oddy freewheel.

Moose:
Dave - I'm probably wrong, but I'm pretty sure that you'll find the thread on that hub is the small size like on the 'other' side of a filp-flop hub. They're compatible with 14t & 13t freewheels and the 'regular' size threads ar compatible with 15t upwards.

I couldn't comment on if the 15t ones are any good, I've never used one :-X

dordymush:
proberly right there phil.
im more used to just a 16 tooth lol.
might be worth him trying to source one of these hubs if he want to go to a 13.

Moose:
TBH I didn't realise you could buy hubs with just the '14t thread' in a non-flip-flop style  :LolLolLolLol:

I'm just looking now to see if I can find any, wouldn't mind a set myself  :daumenhoch:
