They do mate, all Halfords now have a "Bikehut" section which has a workshop.

hot water on crank arm
then tap with wood

i use a shimano one key crank puller thingy, unless the spindle has a threded sticky out bit, then i just get pissed off and take it to my dealer :LolLolLolLol:
