Its the "Lets restore this bike so it looks like its just come out the factory" approach...
Alot of the bikes you guys build never came as complete bikes, just frame & forks, so they never had thing like reflectors, chain guards etc... so you wouldn't want them on a bike.
And for those bikes that did come as complete bikes, I am sure like many Burner owners you ripped them straight off... I think the thing is, that 95% of the Burner collectors were not freestyle riders or racers BITD, it more a nostagia thing than anything... so to have a bike that you had as kid in just the same condition as when you picked it up in 1982 is a thrill...
I won't deny we are a strange bunch... but hey... horses for courses... it takes all sorts... :daumenhoch:

At least 3 of us have reported it to eBay and we have bombarded the seller with emails!!!
The plan is to bid the thing through the roof with some dodgy accounts and leave him with no sale... unless he pulls the plug early.
