<< < (3/6) > >>

muttley:
Yeah riding ramps regular and have caught it a few times, took a couple of links out of chain when new bike was put together and re-checked it for stiff links, didnt really check for damge though, will check chain too  :)

Trev:
a couple of things....

when you go over the volcano, you were sometimes hitting your chainring... maybe it is slightly bent...

i had a similar problem at epic last year.  it turned out that the bearings in the hub were knackered, and that made the sprocket fairly loose...

pickle:
I had the same problem at Epic last year too........turned out it was just me that was knackered!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

Dingobmxer:
loosen the chainring bolt (the one holdin it to the crank) tighten  the cranks up then retighten the sprocket bolt, if this dont fix it take the chain off and file the edges of the teeth of the chainwheel, you might have a slight burr on there, I have had this before and it took me an age to work out, also check the chain line, I find that drive side bb spacers are normally too wide, and replace them with the thin washers from Flight cranks or similar to get a straight line
hope this helps?
 :) DINGO :)

othomas2:
Are you running tuffs ??
