the odyssey pro factor wheelset would be good, so would the sun ringle "superstock" (see usa e-bay shops)

alot of racers in the 90's just continued using the classic suzue hubs with a more modern rim such as any of the sun range, bfr, rhyno's,etc,

the early shimano dx cassette hubs would be ok too,

if you wanted something a little more rare you could search for a set of "nuke proof" hubs or maybe the g-sport dirt hubs,

theres a dude on usa-bay thats got a few pairs of NOS TNT derringer and peacemaker hubs left for like 70 dollars, with a pair of rhyno lite rims that would make a fairly reasonably priced top quality race wheelset,

i'm running sealed gt mohawks laced into chrome araya super 7x rims, 36 spoke, 3 cross, on the challenger, there light.
