Profile crank/chainring trouble - help!

(1/3) > >>

Help needed people...

Purchased a Profile crank set from ebay and a 36T Profile Imperial chainring from trixr4kidz on here.
I've been setting it up today and the hole in the chainring is bigger than the spindle. Now I'm thinking Profile crank/Profile chainring should fit no problems right.

The cranks are a euro bb... does this mean I need an adapter of some sort?

cheers,
greg

RATTY:
You need a top hat washer!!! Any good bike shop like Alans for a £1

gregster:
cheers Ratty.

One of these then - http://www.alansbmx.com/product_info.php?products_id=2343&osCsid=b50ebd320004fad5253a13160a4c36ac

Any idea which size?

RATTY:
To be sure you will need to measure the OD of your axle and the inside diameter of the chainring. I think its 19mm axle, just need to measure the hole in the chainring :daumenhoch:

gregster:
Just had a look at a pic of the bike it came off and I think it was a Primo crank so a 22 - 19mm washer should do it.

Will measure to make sure.
Cheers.
