I think I read somewhere on here that SX spindles fit into DX so it you want to keep it original you could put the DX pedals back on.

hey dd,thanx for putting picture up, :angel:the stem is tuff neck same as the seat post clamp?(it has the stem bolt out at the min as just threw the bars in for picture)
