Not quite...  Those bars were a special design, specifically manufactured for one of the Mongoose race team, after this little known rider had gone through the rigorous training and in-depth medical test that all Mongoose riders at time had to endure, he was found to have phenomenal pulling power in one hand, but less then average strength in the other...  hence the unusual positioning of the cross bar, which helped transfer some of the power across to his weaker side and give this awsome rider the even power distribution he required when racing at the top of his game...

Stevie stabbed his own eyes out with a pencil to copy Ray Charles.  ::)  He recorded his first album whilst doing it...hence the wailing. :laugh:
He is so bad live.... he sounds like he has a wheatabix stuck in his throat..... they have to show him the door  ::)
