Slipping Grips

(1/7) > >>

Paulo:

Just put a set of grips, but they are twisting on the bars.  I recogn it's because I sprayed the bars, so they just slip on the paint job.

Having read some of the threads, I tried WD40 but didn't work.

Any suggestions?

boofy44:
hairspray works good

sprocket:
rough up the paint a bit where the grip will sit and then hair spray.

pickle:
you have to give them time to dry mate, some grips take longer than others........i always use WD40 and never had a problem with it, although the Primo grips i have now took about 2 hours to dry and stop twisting  :daumenhoch:  once dry though they'll be stuck like glue!!

Gashead:
Dont trust pickle - he hasn't got a clue  :2funny:

Take um off and just spit down the grips - they will dry off shortly - jobs a good un  :daumenhoch:
