Landing Gear Decals - What is the correct way round ?

Looking at various Rippers, Quads and other SE Bikes with LG's on them i notice some have the LANDING GEAR decals facing different directions (some read top to bottom & vice versa, and also view upside down/up when sitting on the bike!)

What is the correct way up ?

R/H leg - "Landing" starts from the top

L/H leg - "Landing" starts from the bottom

that's what i thought and stickered mine up the same, but I recently saw a pair of apparently 'NOS' LG's with them facing the wrong way, ie: upside down ! hence the doubt !

i will leave mine as they are then  :)
