Sjyway TA frame number??????????
james1973:
I imported it from the states after winning it on ebay last year, theres just something mysterious about early TA's which sets the mind thinking! Should be in a museum somewhere really, to think it could have been one of the first made on day 1 or 2 is just magic!

It has the curved rear brake bridge, with a tacked on washer over the hole, and appears the same in everyway to later models with the curved break bridge. I saw Skyway TA serial number 0000003 on ebay last year, and I believe that one, as well as mine does not have a letter K stamped into it, which seems to deepen the mystery further?!! Fascinating stuff really!

Munners got there first! Damn you, Munners :2funny:
Only the ones made in Japan had the 'K' prefix.

Nice one, and nice chrome job. Havent got round to doing mine yet! So it looks as though in their first month of production in February 83, Skyway made at least 426 frames !

Spot on hrd. TA's are my game. I would love that f+f. Sell it to me if you ever sell it mate :daumenhoch: That is a real treasure. Quality ;)
There is a thread on here somewhere. Can you make a note of the serial number mate in the thread.

james1973:
Yep sure, to both. :daumenhoch: Wish I knew where serial number 01 was!
