Renthal bars info anyone ?

 H gang,

    I won a set of Renthals from ebay a couple of weeks ago and have just started polishing the clamp marks and dings out of them.  Does anyone know what the original finish was on them ?   Was it polished or a duller brushed look ?

    Plus does anyone know the sticker size  or should I just get a sticker from a set of motorbike bars ?

More than likely the original finish was polished the annodised clear like the seatposts.

Original finish was Satin... (Silver)  like the seatposts.... with a black Anno crossbar. They also did Blue and Red Anno colours too.
  A Quick tip if you are using Polished Alloy seatposts:  If you polish the post make sure you move it (side to side)regularly inside your frame... otherwise it will oxidise/weld its self to the inside of the seatube over time and you will end up with a stuck seat post  ;)

Yep the one I had bitd had the black cross bar.

Can't believe you found one on the bay.  :tickedoff:  I've been keeping my eyes open. The only one I've seen is DMs (which is about to finish £51 atm)  :wtf:

Thanks all,  they are starting to clean up real good, I'm gonna have to get the clamps and bar anodised again as they look a bit tatty.     I t was a lucky find on ebay, I got them for 45 quid which I though was a good price.
