Number plate dyeing

Has anyone tried dyeing a haro flow number plate as i've got a blue one and would like it black, if possible :daumenhoch:

Not sure about dieing but you could paint it??  look at the Die a lavender seat white thread and someone on there sprayed there seat silver.
