fookin hell i thought that bike would never see the light of day again..
I first saw that bike in Orbs possesion i think, at the bournemouth meet, it was late at night and stuck in the groun by the rear dropouts....I thought it was odd, but then saw the state of the frame and thought it wouldnt do it any harm.....lol
then i saw it again a few months back when sandro asked me if i could remove the tube....i chuckled again that it had withstood several years of attempts to come out......I declined the offer, as I thought it was beyond my skills.
I really didnt think that It would ever see a resto that frame.....even though it was a good early example....Top marks for proving me wrong.
Im with everybody else, that paint and decal combo are the dogs danglies.
harris:
cool piece of history type thing :)
it didnt fall out believe me it was 3-1 to the post at one point
so i gathered all my strength and stuck at it,the metal was well thick
or just very hard to cut downwards :knuppel2:
