theRuler:
it's better than my welding!

RATTY:
I take it all back, the weldings spot on . Wonder what year that gusset was added? I have never seen one before :coolsmiley:

GREMLIN:
Thanx m8.  Like i said i've never seen the gusset on any Proline frame i've seen yet.
With the serial number being all digits too, i thought i'd best check it all over properly.
The frame weighs 4lb 4oz. The forks weigh exactly 2lb. This matches up with old specs 'n' tests. So am happy there.  :)
The welds are basically the same throughout the frame and forks. Inc the seatpost gusset.  :)
No cracks, bends, dinks etc.   :daumenhoch:
A couple of things...  The chainstay bridge is welded on wonky, and the drilled hole for the front brake (even tho i won't be running one) is well offset to the right  ???.      G.

RATTY:
As for the serial number, my race PL doesnt have any letters in it either, I would like to find out more about that :daumenhoch:

GREMLIN:
Taking a look over the decals on the frame, i've just found the original shop sticker on the seatpost tube. It was originally sold out of Marblehead, Massachusetts.   :)   G.
