The beartraps are a bit late for the PL, and if your building to ride, those things are savage and unforgiving.
But its your bike, build it how you like, i used them pedals till I sourced a pair of XC2s :daumenhoch:

but as for beartraps i had them bitd as we were poor and i assume they were cheap, my shins have still got deep scarring today even more than from coming off my motorbikes i fooking hate them things with a passion >:(

I picked up a pair of the barefoot tyres, cheap of the Bay also.  No real use for them, just because i thought why not.
Bloody things are disintegrating around the beading  ???.
