Redline Proline II
GREMLIN:
It's black with skinwalls for me too lads :).
I've plenty of rainbow label Comp III's sat around here on various builds. Which i can use on the bike.
My choice at the moment is over Comp III or Knarler knobbie. I think i'm def going to go with fattie and thinnie. It's just which make. :-\
The Knarlers were standard issue on the Carrera. But i've always loved the Comp III's ;).
I've a rainbow label on the front at the mo (2.125), and a cheapo Wilko's job on the rear, just so it's sat on rubber while i decide.
I'll fire some pics up later in the week with what i decide on wrapped around the rims >:D G. ;)

Since there are a few PLII's appearing, thought i would dig mine out of the loft. I have owned this one for 24 yrs since new. I just wish I had rescued it from the loft a few years earlier, as unfortunately the chrome is too far gone. Even beyond the polishing skills of Grem this one! :LolLolLolLol: Which is a real shame as the decals are the originals.
Cant decide what to do with it...at a guess i would say its going to be a powder coat in either white or candy red. Any suggestions?? Also deciding how to build it.. Whether to build it as it was or go for a new look with NOS parts.

please, please, please do not paint it. all it needs is a bath in some oxalic acid (the stickers should be fine) and a bit of autosol rub down. buy some nice used components and hey presto instant survivor that will be way neater than a carpet warrior with hundred dollar bills of NOS thrown at it.
does your serial number start with RB?
Tricky:
Yes..
