Bmx plus magazine from Oct '82 says this in it's test write up.
"Not all Pro line frames are brazed-only the ones that come from Japan in the PL-20 Carrera kits".   G  :)

So did Carrera's come only as complete builds, or could you buy the frame and forks alone? :D

Carrera was the name given to the complete bike.  ;)  G.

Its confusing this..
Mine has brazed dropouts and is made in Japan, suggesting its a Carrera....however it came brand new as frame and forks badged as a Proline II...who knows
