Redline Proline II
gt0733:
cold thread needs a bit of warming up ;)
i bought this 1981 US made frame/fork a while back and built it as a rider.
the brake bridge was squashed and the drops had a bit of mange.
i recently decided to retire the old girl and build it as a replica of my proline-II from back in it's first guise in 1982. this is one of the very few pics i have of it from back then, i do remember most of the bits that it was built with.
the frame was sent to a frame repairer in Melbourne, Australia, who did a wonderful job on it.
and then a nice friend sent it to the platers and ended up like this. thanks Norm, you're a legend :daumenhoch:
stay tuned for the next installment ;)
