rl20 pstyler forks ???

i have a set of proline forks that came with my rl20 and i have a set of rl20 forks with the standoffs in so a later pair the rl forks are a lot chunkyer than pl is this correct
ie the bits the wheels fit into are about twice as thick material about 2-3 mm  and pl  ones about a mill or so  ???g]

Are they both 4"headtube?

The thinner drop outs were the racing forks from the PL, the fatter ones are from the RL. But Im not sure if the first RLs just borrowed the PLs forks!!
