squeaky alloy hubbed tuff 2 rear. How do i stop it!!
2020mad:
I dont recomend a hammer, but could you not try placing in a large vice and slowly nip up ?.
it may just compress rivets again without cracking the nylon around them.
bodamus:
Ear plugs.
dwain dibbly:
hey mate
are these the ones you got from me??
if so i never noticed them squeaking :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
how loose are the rivets?? i used them on my
ripper with no probs.
if you feel grieved im sure i could reimburse you or something
i dont want to be seen selling dodgy stuff :( :(
lazychubs:
take to a engineering shop they may be able to sort it for ya
dj B silverlite:
Hi dibbly yeah these are the ones i got from you. I thought at first the spindle was loose, which it was but that didnt sort it. When the rear is on the bike you can move it side to side and it squeaks. :2gunsfiring_v1: Very annoying :tickedoff: Im not sure if its because they are the alloy hubs ???, as my old ones were steel and they never made any noise. Im not sure what to try :-\. Maybe the vice but i would have to be extremely careful and to be honest i wouldnt want to do that. Im not saying your selling dodgy stuff as they are old wheels. Does anybody elses squeak? if not dibbly would you take a return and refund? :daumenhoch:
