There is nothing actually dodgy about Banker's Drafts.

In fact, they are more secure than a cheque. A Banker's Draft is a cheque drawn on a Bank, rather than on a personal bank account.

A cheque is much less secure.

Depending on your bank a fake bankers draft can take up to 6 weeks to be discovered by which time you will have already sent the goods  :2gunsfiring_v1:

problem is though there is a lot of fake bankers cheques going around
