How low can I go ?

(1/5) > >>

billstup:
I`ve just purchased an odyssey free coaster to have laced in to a hazard rim, the trouble is that it only comes with a ten tooth driver, so I will need to change my chainwheel to a 28 tooth.
Now, my brake lugs are on the lower part of the rear triangle so the chain may snag on it, and my question is what is the lowest brake that I can get that might cure this problem ?

lazychubs:
prob the fly or primo e brake
and i have heardyou can get a lowering kit
or somit for ya brakes ?  ???

fatboymal:
Billy,

Fly, check out the S&M LAF at Pijin with Fly brake and 28T:

Not to mention that they work brilliantly and are lightweight..

oberonspacefruit:
depends on frame geometry. on mine, the oddy evolver fouled with a 30 tooth wheel so probably will on yours. the lugs are the same height no matter what you put on it tho......what ratio were you running before the freecoaster?

billstup:
I`ve got 36-13 at the moment which gives plenty of room.  ;)
