dx levers

on my dx levers it's got  a H & L on it  i suppose this is for high & low,but high & low what?


i don't want to undo the little screw and have a play about with it incase i brake! it

it just refers to the reach of the lever-closer or further away from the bars,depends on the size of your hands i guess.

i thought it was to change between standard brakes and v brakes!!!

what age of DX levers are we talking about?early 80's or the red and black ones from now-a-days?

I think it's to swith between V's and U's as said above........if you use V's then i think you need more leverage??  :-\
