I shyed away from bmx for a few years because in my eyes it was crap. I could do everything I ever saw and more on my Grifter - no need for a poxy american bike :D
Wheelies, coaster wheelies, bunnyhops, drops and gaps. They were all regularly pulled on the trusty Grifter. Sure, I went through forks and seats almost weekly, but I could definately 'ave it on that bike.
I for one will never mock the Grifter :4_17_5:

When I was first in to BMX, a lad at the local BMX track had a grifter built up with BMX parts. He had gone a little further than that tho. He drilled the frame out, all down the down tube to make it lighter. Then he had chucked the frame into a bonfire for a bit, to "heat treat" it. Finally he gave it an E.T. paint job. The bike was a legend!!!!
Now THAT would be some rebuild!
