ripper to jmc
endoeddy:
hi all,
i have been after a nice pk ripper looptail frame for ages now with no joy,
as the prices have gone through the roof, so i ts time for a re-think.
ive looked though the museum and the jmc got my attention but i dont know much about them,
are they pricey to build,i dont remember them from my when i was a kid, was it mainly in the states.
can anyone shed some light on this.
cheers :daumenhoch:

your best bet will be ebay.com as i think the americans have most of them - there stunning bikes must say like you there certainly good eye candy and always seem to be built well - might have something to do with the investment as they are still like a ripper commanding good money.
Do a google search for JMC BMX and you should find the Jim Milton site - some good history there, also try some of the american forums for info and contacts
Good luck fella
Make sure you get some pics up when you get one

Well if you thought Rippers were pricey then JMCs will be a tad more than them ::)
there pretty rare and the real rare stuff goes for silly money

and when you start trying to buy stuff, watch for bidding wars.....watch out for that radman, he's a top sniper, as is keepitlit, and i'm not tto bad if im in the mood!
there has beena couple of nice bits of late, a couple of shadows at handy money.....ive got 2 that are being powdered and the built white and red standard short thats in the museum...
they are one of the finest, and super addictive!!
oh, and cast iron investments also.
win win!!
