Flex Fighters Query
aerostylie:
Hi folks. I might be answering my own question here, but are they designed to fit around the stem shaft ??? And are they worth buying, basically do they work?
Cheers
Paul :)
SaMAlex:
Yes, thats where they go .... no, they dont work! :LolLolLolLol:
Always try and run your stem all the way down. If you want your grips higher, then use a "higher" stem or taller bars.
aerostylie:
Yeh I've always been told to run the stem all the way down, but me likes it a bit higher. Got some CW Pro bars that are tall enough but for my other bars, I think the flex fighter might possibly be the way to go......that extra inch makes all the difference ;) :LolLolLolLol:
generallee:
i have a flexfighter for sale that would be perfect for you... pm sent!
MartyC:
The Hutch and early DK type 2in1 jobbies work quite well so long as you don't go for the really tall ones, I was never convinced about the Haro Flex Fighter, too thin to be really effective but the Hutch/DK type ones have a lot more meat on them and are screwed onto your forks in place of a headset top nut. I ran a UK no-name one on my ELF and it worked Ok on that :daumenhoch:.
