16 into a 36 hub

(1/4) > >>

lazychubs:
right how the feck am i gonna do this then as cant get me head round it lol
thanks to heywood bmx bailee now has a flip flop hub
but as his wheels has 16 spokes and the new hub is 36

harris:
measure the inside of the rim , take that measurement and divide by 36    thats your hole gap measurement
pick the spoke hole nearest the valve hole  to start then mark with a marker pen and drill out
some original holes might even come into play so use them.the old unused holes just ignore.

lazychubs:
blimey that sounds like hard work lol
think i may need picts dan lol
is gonna be hard as his wheels are only 12 "

harris:
shite thats small best do it from outside of rim then lol
and make sure your spokes will be correct length.

bof:
lazychubs you have got yourself a whole lot of touble there , there is a link below here and somewhere on it is something about using different holed hubs on different holed rims , I say somewhere because I cant remember exactly where I read it , it may even be a link off this site. :)
