So great to see that I was not the only Piranha owner. This was my first BMX, it was bought from a toy shop Rossmore Parade, Ringwood Road Parkstone, last time I was there the shops had been turned into some sWanky flats. Mine was Black with yellow push button pads, v bars and 5 spoke silver mags. I cracked the mags and stuck some mongoose steel rims bought from Ian holloway for £12, the cones always tightened when I rode to scholl and with no warning the back wheel would lock up, I had to turn it upside down and turn the back wheel backwards to undo the cones to enable me to ride a bit more. HA!. He also sold me some white redline push stud pads. I fitted some Oakley 3 copies and a shotgun 2 seat. Also had a Haro type 2 plate on it, man I loved that plate. So anyhow many jumps later I managed to crack the top tube and thought great I will get a new bike. No chance. Dad took it up to Coxys who cut spread the top tube apart, stuck another tube inside and welded the thing back together. Now you think a 6 stone nipper is going to get air on a Piranha any how? Well now it was the heaviest out there.
Great to see the advert, bikes and once again have something in common with some strangers.
