Dia compe Fs880 brakes centre bolt help

Seen two types some with two nuts on front to secure like most Dia compe brakes. Then some with an allen bolt fixing on the front, whats the difference and why? Are the basic calipers the same?

etriedes:
They switched to the allenbolt cus the nut was shredding the shoes when doing tricks apperantly
