Anyone seen one of these before?

Not the best picks granted. (zoom tube on stem was added by me - i need tall bars to get the front wheel off the ground)

The wife bought it for me for me 30th (sept 1999)

I have not seen one anywhere else? nothing on google and a local bike dealer rang Mongoose UK when presented with it  and they thought he was on drugs.

Just curious as it was bought to my attention (again) recently

Yep, I've seen one of those before.  I think Brian Lopes may have rode a frame that shape for a while when he was on Mongoose.

Last time I went in JE James in Sheffield (at least 6 or 7 years ago) they had one of those frames hanging up.
