tuf neck stem....
thebigdog:
picked up this little beut from the U.S,just gonna do a little resto on it, i want to get it rechromed does anyone know of any good chromers in the south? portsmouth southampton area or does anyone do it on here ???
it did start to polish up.but there is some minor pitting still.
what ya reckon?
MartyC:
Gossa was saying about some place in Poole that does it that's supposed to be the dogs. You might just get away with a good polish on that as there's no obvious peeling. You can get new bolts in chrome too including the main stem bolt that holds it to the shaft, I have one in chrome on my blue one :daumenhoch:

sounds cool.............that pic was taken as soon as i got it so i could get it at its worst state,it has buffed up nicely, but still has some minor pitting.....bit like its been hit with sand granuals in places if you know what i mean :-\ i think it will need redoing to get it back to its best...........ill have a look on yell.com tomorrow see if i can find anyone a bit closer...thanks for the heads up though :daumenhoch:
phantom photon:
As above, you should get away with a good polish on that one :daumenhoch:
Need to use some wet n dry or an oilstone to get rid of the pitting but it will come up a treat with a little effort.
Waxintaxin:
Fook me is that a chrome one ?
if it is its the only one i have ever seen ??
and its an early square cornered one , very nice , do not wet and dry it as thats only for alloy
Peek , carefully with autosol as its a tad harsh, wonder chrome or silvo
should come up a treat
maybe re chrome the bolts but the stem should come up a treat
