Pitting in chrome.

I personally wouldn't use wet n dry or an oilstone on chrome. I would only use them on alloy where you want a polished finish (See pics below) :daumenhoch: If the chrome is badly pitted probably the only option would be a full rechrome.
I have used a very fine wire wool (0000 gauge I think!) with autosol on chrome frames with some minor pitting and have had very good results  :daumenhoch:

never touch CHROME with wet and dry , it will fook it completly

wet and dry for alloy

0000 wire wool on chrome with wd or polish
