Hold on
Cali's arnt all chromoly till later on (86?) - sure the rear dropouts have knurling on them
So the Cali geometry isnt the same as Supergooses after the 3 brake bridge models.
As far as I can remember,
I read that all chromoly tubes ones - have the rear loop connecting lower on the seat tube.
There is a post about it somewhere. Im sure someone has pictures somewhere to make a proper guide.

So as far as I understand it.
Both have serial number on bb and single hole in brake bridge.
Cali all tubes Chromoly - same as UK Supergoose3
Cali just front triangle chromoly, back steel - Not SG3
What year they changed im not sure?
Is it all taiwan frames are all chromoly?
But dont think my Blue Max is all chromoly but is Taiwan?
Ive had early US calis with steel back end?
Not sure you can tell with the knurling on the rear dropouts.
I have had both types.
My point was where the seat tube meets rear triangle gives it away if its full chromoly or not.
Tried searching, but cant find the picture post threat that described this.
And then theres the Expert, M1 and Blue Max?
