redline flite bearing shims where 2 buy ???

<< < (2/4) > >>

RATTY:
The bearings you got off me were 20mm, is your axle a redline flite axle or a proline one? Try freezing the bearings before fitting them, that usually gives a bit more clearance

ron burgundy:
You need a top hat shim to reduce the inside diameter of the bearing, no idea who sells them. I had the same issue a few year back, I ended up smashing my old bearing with a hammer to get at the shim and just re used that :-\

bof:
custom riders do them look under BB spares  :daumenhoch:

kowalski:
bof could you send me the link please mate i can't see them on there  :daumenhoch:

and boys thanks for the advise they are as ron says, but seem quite hard to find  :'(

bof:
Im afraid its bad news they where in this section http://www.customriders.com/prodlist.asp?a=cat&parent=1001&cat=10&sort=3&pg=1
But they are no longer there I think they where called GBH adaptors to fit 19mm shaft into 20mm bearings. Give them a ring they may still have them on the shelf but not on the website. Good luck :daumenhoch:
