Cassette hub maintence

Just taken my rear wheel off to change the tyre and was wondering if there is any regular maintence that should be done to the hub. I'm used to loose ball and cones so would clean and re-grease at this point.
Should I just leave alone or take the driver out and grease/oil; will it fall to pieces and dis-appear under the sofa :tickedoff:

i always clean and light oil my driver gary
as grease makes the paws slip

p.s got grief today at work fitting the Khe tyre as it cost the same as the ones on my car :idiot2:
