why is that rare?

i'm no expert, but to me that just looks like a regular street beat thats been chromed and got Skyway TA stickers on it...
It doesn't look like the prototype model that Vanderspek (I think) rode.
But then again I know nothing about old school bikes.

But it does look nice...  :smitten:
