Couldn't believe it actually worked! :)
Swivel:
Lads, bought some Haro copy bars from Jon, these were described as rusty and in need of a re-chrome and when they arrived they weren't in good shape which I knew anyway. I don't have an acid bath as yet but thought i'll try something I read about on the web. I took a 1-metre length of kitchen foil and scrunched it up into a ball, then poured a very small glass of coca-cola (one for me also with JD in it ;) ) and dipped it into the coke and started rubbing the bars. No lie, about 15 mins later and not a lot of elbow grease to be honest, here is the result. It basically took off all the rust easily and after a quick once over with Brasso wading, the result is very good, no need for a re-chrome at all. Very happy. What do you reckon? Just need some Bob Haro Vector decals now... 8)
