highjacking threads
martin46:
why do some people feel the need to post on others (for sale) thread's with negative comments on pricing? especially if you're not even interested in making an offer.
unless an item is a fake or misadvertised i personally think you should mind your own business.
If you feel the item is over priced, dont buy it and leave it at that.
If you can get it cheaper, well done, go buy it some where else.
i dont think there are any on here that are out to rip anyone off, most people just like to recoup what they have paid for stuff or get somewhere near the current market value. fair enough in my book.
Goose1:
You can get this thread much cheaper at www.don'tbuymystuff.com. There was one a week ago that had much more ranting and went for far less.
martin46:
lol nice, i guess i asked for that. keep em coming.............
Brandy Truffle:
But is this not a community? A community spirit with members which look out for and helps others?
There has been a few blatant p*ss takes as far as for sale posts that i can see since being a member. So what does that say about the poster?
All very well in day to day banter across the site, all very well in letting other members source and find that elusive part for your build... "but hey,i've got something to sell,i know it can be bought a hell of a lot cheaper elsewhere, but what the heck,i'll try and sting my fellow RADsters first,eh?"
If they want "to recoup" what they paid then why not go straight to the evilbay and set a reserve?
Hijacking is a harsh term, but in order to understand,You obviously have an example thread Martin, why dont you share it with us?

anyone watching the liverpool game tonight?
I see the dudes, point, but we'd be doing you a service if we told you you were over pricing your item, do you could then revise it and make a sale.
