Help! i can't get my pedals off!!!
ORB:
after applying derv, strip the pedal so you just have the shaft left exposed.
Grip the shaft TIGHTLY in a vice and then rotate the crank.
Peasy lemon easy squeezy
billstup:
Like lazychubs said make sure you are turning them the right way, one pedal is left handed thread and one is right handed thread :idiot2: :idiot2:
NICKYSPLENDID:
been to the garage...bought derv. the pedals are soaking in derv as we speak.
i'll give it a go tomorrow...tonite i'll clean the mags..
weston:
bang the end of the pedal with a hammer to loosen any rust in the shaft, then you will have to use a bike shop spanner which is 5 times longer than your normal spanner for leverage, dont forget the right hand turns anti & the left clockwise when loosening.
theRuler:
the left hand pedal is opposite thread. the right is regular.
no pedal can argue with a big spanner and a knockometer
i'd eat my own c0ck before i found a pedal i couldnt undo :D
